Building Evaluations
Existing Building Assessments
1
Initial Contact
Homeowners contact us by phone or email to describe their questions or concerns.
2
Proposal & Agreement
We provide a written proposal that clearly outlines the scope of work, deliverables, and flat-rate cost. A 50% deposit is typically requested to begin work.
3
On-Site Structural Assessment
A site visit is scheduled, typically lasting 1–2 hours. Homeowners are encouraged to be present to share history and observations. Measurements, photographs, notes, and LiDAR scans may be collected.
4
Analysis & Evaluation
We review the collected information, perform structural analysis, and apply engineering judgment. Where needed, reinforcement or replacement designs are developed.
5
Deliverables
Clients receive a written report and/or construction drawings explaining existing conditions, causes, analysis results, and prioritized recommendations.
Structural Design
New Construction & Addition Design
1
Project Information
Clients provide architectural drawings, sketches, or plans. We discuss project goals and any unique conditions.
2
Proposal with Scope Options
A proposal is provided outlining one or more scope options, each with a clear, flat-rate price.
3
Design & Progress Set
After agreement, structural design begins. A progress set (typically around 50%) is issued to review design direction and gather feedback.
4
Final Construction Documents
Design is finalized and a complete set of structural construction drawings is issued.
5
Construction Support
We remain available during construction to assist with contractor questions, substitutions, and unexpected field conditions.
